 CalMHSA Peer Support Specialist Certification Program. An 80 hour state-recognized training that equips graduates with the skills to support individuals facing mental health and substance use challenges. With this certification, I bring lived experience, professional training, and compassionate guidance to help others on their journey toward healing and personal growth. Whether you’re seeking support, coaching, or resources, I’m here to provide understanding and encouragement every step of the way. 

Trauma Intervention Programs (TIP) Volunteer Training Academy, a comprehensive 55 hour course designed to prepare individuals to provide immediate, on-scene emotional support to those affected by traumatic events. This intensive training, conducted by certified TIP National Trainers, equipped me with essential skills in Emotional First Aid and practical care support. As a certified TIP volunteer, I am committed to offering compassionate assistance to individuals in crisis, ensuring they receive the necessary support during their most challenging moments. 

This program is considered the equivalent of a Master’s degree program. Any SCU graduates with a bachelor’s in a health care related field are eligible to apply for the Ph.D. in clinical sexology program offered by the accredited U.S. school, International Institute of Clinical Sexology (IICS).
